Compass wins at the Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards

Compass Group UK & Ireland scooped two awards at the the Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards, which took place on 1 November 2024, at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre.
Over 800 guests attended the awards, which highlight the achievements of apprentices and the contribution of employers and learning providers who have assisted them along their journey. Founded in 2015, The Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards aim to showcase talent and diversity within multicultural communities through the celebration of those working hard to overcome adversity to achieve their goals through apprenticeships.
- Compass Group UK and Ireland won the award in the Large Employer of the Year category, against tough competition for their commitment in attracting and supporting apprentices from diverse backgrounds.
- Temuujin Amarsanaa, a Level 2 apprentice from Rapport Guest Services, took home the Intermediate Apprentice of the Year award for his work promoting apprenticeships within the Mongolian community.
- Dean Alunan, Head of Operations – Food, at a leading London site within Compass Group UK & Ireland – Healthcare, who is currently working towards a Chartered Manager Degree Level 6 apprenticeship, was highly commended within the Retail, Hospitality & Tourism category for the second year in a row.
