Compass Group UK & Ireland heads to Hotelympia

Compass Group UK & Ireland, the UK’s largest catering firm, is heading to Hotelympia, the country’s largest foodservice and hospitality event, to showcase the range of opportunities open to future recruits.

The business currently employs around 30 graduates and 500 apprentices each year. In the last year, Compass has been recognised as a Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer and also made The Job Crowd’s Top 100 companies for Graduates to Work for list.

Next week, the company will be inviting visitors to find out more about the various training schemes it has on offer at its recruitment stand at The ExCel Exhibition Centre in London.

Compass Group recruits graduates on a two-year scheme into a number of nationwide roles across the range of its businesses including: operations, commercial, finance, nutrition, HR, security and marketing.

Quality apprenticeship training programmes are also offered in a range of disciplines including, professional cookery, management, security, facilities management and leadership.

Apprentices work alongside experienced colleagues or mentors to gain job-specific skills, while studying towards a nationally recognised qualification and earning money at the same time.

During the exhibition, a number of culinary apprentices will also be competing in various chef competitions during the exhibition between February 29 and March 3.
