Compass Group UK and Ireland wins two Public Sector Catering Awards
The Public Sector Catering Awards took place at the London Hilton Metropole last week – recognising teams and individuals who have provided exceptional and outstanding work in the public sector environment.
It was another successful night for Compass Group UK & Ireland - who scooped 2 awards.
The winners were:
- Innovation Award – One Retail
- Special Contribution Award - Nick Vadis
One Retail were deserved winners of the Innovation Award for their world first frictionless store within a healthcare location at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.
Demonstrating to judges how this innovative concept has dramatically enhanced the service available to patients, staff and visitors, the Market Express store allows an effortless shopping experience, using the Just Walk Out technology from Amazon.
Our second award saw Nick Vadis receive the Special Contribution Award. He was recognised for his exceptional service to the NHS in helping to shape the culinary landscape with the latest concepts, innovations and expertise.
