For over 15 years, we have enjoyed a collaborative partnership with One Retail, who currently operate Costa, M&S Food, M&S café and Subway branded retail solutions across the Southampton General Hospital site.

We are always looking for ways for One Retail to enhance and develop the retail solutions onsite and within the wider trust, to ensure we are meeting the needs of our ever changing consumers, whatever their food & drink mission may be today and in the future.

Another initiative includes opening the Costa Coffee unit at the front entrance 24/7, to ensure our staff, patients and visitors have access to high quality food and drink at any time of the day.

Matt shared: ”It’s really important that organisations like Compass are leading the way on social value led retail propositions within healthcare. An example of this includes their implementation of ‘Too Good to Go’ at Southampton General Hospital, which has saved over 896 meals or 2.24 tonnes of Co2 in the last 12 months.”
